Cher Lyn - Mystic Art Medicine

“Your medicine that you carry is your life, and your life is represented by all the things that you have said, all that has been given to you, and all that you have given to others. It is all that you are and all you have done.

Your medicine that you carry, are all the things that you ‘bundle’ together. This medicine bundle contains all those things that you hold sacred in the world… and this is your gift to your world.” Cherokee Elder

“At thirteen years old a blessing occurred for me when I discovered I could draw while in an art class at school. Fired with passion and dedication I drew every day. Art demonstrated to me, right from the beginning a balancing emotional healing tool. If it were not for Art, I don’t believe I would have survived . . . My intention is that my paintings go on to bless others as they have me.”

Inspired in Nature, passionately painting, often 15 to 18 hours a day. Painting, Playing and Praying, I’ve had the honor of living on Ancient Chumash land in the mountains of Malibu, California. Maui’s magical jungles of Hawaii, Glastonbury, England on the Holy Isle of Avalon… and presently residing studio in the powerful Red Rocks of Sedona, AZ.” I’ve painted almost daily since 1986.

Self-taught, this visionary artist travels the physical world and paints the numinous found deep within the spirit world. She brings the essence of her journeys to life on the canvas with an intention to illuminate all who gaze upon them. “Her images invite you past the borders of her paintings and guide you through multidimensional worlds of mystical story myth, emotion and texture.” Four Corners Magazine 2002

While exhibiting in the International Agape Center of Los Angeles, California, their practitioners used Cher Lyn’s paintings as mediation tools for their teaching.

I believe my experiences in ceremony with indigenous peoples from around the world, and peaceful activism support, as well as transforming trauma from my childhood have all have deeply enriched the Medicine I share.

In honoring Mother Earth Her children, as a peaceful activist for the environment, various Indigenous cultures and transforming through creativity… *At least 10 % of original art sales are donated to indigenous cultures and ecological preservation.
